Optometrist was called Patrick. I am Paul's mother and I took Paul (3 years) in for an eye test as I thought there was a possibility he could have a squint. Patrick was very nice and communicated with Paul great which allowed Paul to be happy to allow him to conduct the eye test and comply even at this young age. He reassured me with information I did not know and said that they will contact me in 4-5 months to make another appointment. I felt 100% better as soon as I left and I would like to thank Patrick and another member of staff(sorry I didn't catch his name!) whom interacted with Paul before our appointment.

Patrick was friendly and communicative. Other staff are new too me but perfectly helpful and pleasant.

Doctor did a relatively thurough job on checking the quality of my eyesight, but too focused on that as that wasn't why I was there, I wanted to discuss the strain on my eyes and solutions to that. I was told my eye was healthy while they were still throbbing! Haha. All in all, if you really need glasses, they would do fine.

Found the staff very unfriendly. One member of staff decided to question how good my employers were, and pushed the matter. When the optomotrist came out to the floor with my prescrption and discussed my details with another member of staff he tutted when told what I wanted. Despite me asking for a contact lens check/trial, I had to ask for this when from the optomotrist when he started to give me all the output for a normal glasses exam. Not up to Boots normal standard - would use different branch in future and will probably cancel my contact lens trial as not happy that staff are proffesional enough
